    Georgian Strategic Analysis Center hosted a meeting with Fatma Ceren Yazgan (Turkish ambassador to Georgia). She talked about the ongoing political events of Turkey and also discussed Turkey's operation in Syria called "Olive Branch". After, she answered the presented questions.

    Georgian Strategic Analysis Center hosted lecture of Gia Japaridze (Ex-ambassador of Georgia to Portugal and Cyprus) about ongoing Balkan crisis. He talked about Macedonian history, its name dispute and the political challenges the country is facing.

    Tornike Sharashenidze had a lecture in Georgian Strategic Analysis Center within the program National Security and Media Communications. He is one of the founders of GSAC and a lecturer in Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA).  The topic of the lecture was one of the least studied fields - Intelligence services. The lecture had Q&A format.

    Debates have been hold on Strategic Discussions in Tbilisi (Presidential Palace) and Gori (Defense Academy).  It was co-organized by Georgian Strategic Analysis Center. Session about National Security Strategies for defense against Hybrid Foreign Influence was co-hosted by GSAC and GMF (German Marshall Fund).     Omar Begoidze had a lecture on 21st November in Georgian Strategic Analysis Center. The main topic was NATO and it was about foundation and history of NATO since the beginning to the Cold War, relations of NATO and Georgia and the currently existing challenges of the alliance. 
  • Meeting with Ms. Rosaria Puglia from NATO liaison office

    A meeting was held in GSAC with Ms. Rosaria Puglia, who is a deputy chairman of NATO liaison office in Georgia, on 21st November of 2017.   Discussion was hold about the existing situation in Georgia in defense and security systems and reforms, which were influenced by the constitutional changes and foremost about dismantling security council of president as an institute. An agreement was reached to make the cooperation between GSAC and NATO more active under the new leadership.

    On 13th November of 2017, GSAC hosted presentation of journal "25 years of friendship between Turkey and Georgia", which was created by the partnership of TIKA and GSAC. The journal was presented to the audience by Turkish Ambassador to Georgia Zeki Levent Gumrukcu and the advisor to the president of Georgia, Tengiz Pkhaladze.

    On the first november Georgian Strategic Analysis Center hosted public lecture of Dwight Nystrom, who is the head of department of politics and economics of US embassy in Georgia.  The topic of the lecture was priorities of American foreign policy. The lecture was interactive and its chairman was Dr. Giorgi Targamadze.

    As a part of the ongoing program on national security and media communications, GSAC founder, Giorgi Targamadze, met with the program's participants.  The lecture was interactive and its main topic, as a result of its current importance, was elections. To be more specific, Targamadze spoke about the different methodologies used when making forecasts of electoral results.

    On September 1st, 2017, Georgian Strategic Analysis Center hosted Luis Navarro, an American political scientist and former director of the National Democratic Institute in Georgia. Navarro is the leading foreign expert on Georgian politics, he not only has knowledge of ongoing events, but he also understands the underlying themes and "personalities" which make up the political spectrum in the country.
