NATO Media Training

The Georgian Strategic Analysis Center (GSAC) executed the “National Security and Media Communications” project in cooperation with NATO. The aim of the project is to enhance the technical and thematic skill set of Georgian media stakeholders to facilitate more accurate and analytical reporting on relevant developments in political, defense, and security spheres in Georgia. More specifically, the project introduces media representatives to NATO, its mission and operations, as well as Georgia’s NATO integration efforts. Participating journalists are also trained in Western journalism ethics and best practices, which will help shape Georgia’s media environment into one that aligns more closely with Western democratic standards.
GSAC engages preeminent Georgian and international experts with extensive professional backgrounds in security, defense, international relations, democratic governance, and media to conduct trainings. Program participants utilize GSAC’s modern media lab for simulations and interactive activities. Moreover, participating journalists have the opportunity to expand their professional networks, gaining meaningful contacts in political, defense, and security domains.
