The project “Resilient Ethnic Minorities as a Response to Disinformation and Hybrid Threats” seeks to increase resilience in representatives of ethnic minority groups in Georgia including local civil society members, opinion-makers, teachers as well as youths by equipping them with skills necessary for recognising components of hybrid threats such as disinformation, fake news, and propaganda and to be able to counter them.

More specifically, the project will introduce participants to:
● Hybrid threats;
● Disinformation;
● The most common tactics of operating propaganda machines;
● How to identify disinformation;
● and deal with it.

The project encompasses a series of lectures, simulations, round table discussions as well as the
video series on hybrid threats, disinformation, NATO, its mission and values, NATO-Georgia
relations.

Lectures, simulations and discussions will be carried out for five days in two locations, populated
by ethnic minority groups (Pankisi Gorge, Karajala). Each location will have at least 30 selected
participants (local civil society members, opinion makers, teachers, youth) who will engage in an
intensive training course that will include presentations, simulations, discussions and interactive
activities.
